I have started and saved several notes to you (there's always a lot going on). I am starting all over and am committed to pressing "send" instead of "save" at the end of this note.
Yesterday I went to the Elmwood Senior Center for their senior fair. I heard a man say "oh yes, West Hartford's best kept secret!". We really are! The people who utilize that community center are so friendly and down-to-earth. It was good to see Gina, Jim from Parks and Rec., Susan from Human Services and so many others!
Today, Friday, the van is busy taking our residents to doctor's appointments. People are signing up for our Wednesday trip. We are going to Sears and lunch at The Olive Garden.

I just went to the website link to make sure it worked and I re-read some resident testimonials. Practically every day a resident expresses to me their gratitude for living in a place that supports them so well. Today it was Ginny who said (don't worry, I asked her if I could share this with you) "people here are concerned about how I'm doing [during my husband's illness], but they're not nosey or gossipy. I can't get over how generous the people here are with their care".
